Classic, these simple earring studs are made with freshwater cultured pearls. All metal components are made of solid sterling silver, imported from Italy (not plated and nickel free). I carefully choose each pearls to match them by their color variation, shape, luster or size and I assemble everything myself.


This listing features earrings made with real freshwater pearls, from 6 to 7 mm diameter.

Other pearls formats are available, from 3 -4 mm to 8-9 mm.
6-7 mm:

Freshwater pearl have a nice luster and usually lots of overtone (second color). They are cultured in mussel and come in many color variation, such as white, cream, light yellow, orange or pink.
Also, some pearls are treaded by irradiation to change their color. This treatment use gamma rays to darken the nucleus of the pearl. All dark freshwater pearls, such as peacock, dark green, dark blue, dark violet, dark gray..etc. are treated by irradiation. The result is very nice and tends to imitates Tahitian pearls. Irradiated pearls have colors that look much more «natural» than dyed pearls.
Some pearls are also dye to change their colors. This treatment gives vibrant colors, but the colors may change a little bit after a couple of years because it is not stable like irradiation.

I don’t have all those colors in stock for all 6 sizes, but I buy new pearls once every month, so don’t hesitate to convo me if you need a color that is not listed. Also know that I have access to high quality salt water pearls if you need a larger size and a natural dark color.

Most of the freshwater pearls I use are near round or button shape.

Care instructions

Sterling silver can go yellow or tarnish with time, it is a normal phenomenon when exposed to air. The best way to maintain your jewels clean is to wear them! It will protect their shine and some daily precautions will keep them beautiful and clean longer! Since most of my sterling silver jewellery is already oxidised you shouldn’t need to do anything special to keep them the way they are.

I always include silver care information with the package.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Every item is delivered in a gift pouch or jewelry box. I do not include invoice since they can be printed from your account, except for France and Germany.
Gift package: you can add a note or message with the package, just mention it with the order.

Return for size adjustment

It is possible to return an item for a size adjustment. You don’t need to communicate with me before you return it, but you must include the following information with the return: ORDER NUMBER, NEW SIZE and RETURN ADDRESS.

Once I receive the package I will send a separate invoice for shipping and size adjustment fee. The fee will vary from 0 to 25% of the item value, because in some case I need to completely re-do the item.

Non-delivery policy

We always do our best to meet the manufacturing delay and ship them on time. But once an item is marked as shipped, it is out of our hands. We know shipping delays can occur and are frustrating, but please be patient as they are much more frequent than lost package. Our lost package policy applies only after 30 business days in Canada and USA, 40 business days in other countries. If you haven’t received your package 30 business days after the item was mark as shipped, we will offer to ship a new one at our charges or offer a complete refund. Thank you for your patience.
